The FX Rand Process

Steps for the FX Rand Process:

1. We Inform FX Rand 

1.1 To start the onboarding process, notify us that you would like to get up and running and we will get in contact with FX Rand on your behalf

2. FX Rand will Make Contact 

2.1 FX Rand will respond with an email indicating that they will send a secure link for you to complete your registration 
2.2  You will receive an email containing a link to the Proposal Acceptance Form
2.3 Click on the link to access the form and fill in your personal details.
2.4 Upload your ID document, proof of address and a selfie 
2.5 If you need help with this process, you can refer to the following Guide to help you 

3. Sign Documents from FX Rand 

3.1 After submitting the Proposal Acceptance Form, you will receive an email from FX Rand with further instructions
3.2 The email will include a link to a document that requires your electronic signature 
3.3 Follow the link to review and sign the document

4. Wait For Confirmation Letter 

4.1 After signing the agreement, FX Rand will need some time to process your information
4.2 Upon successful processing, you will receive a Confirmation of Account Created Letter. This letter will confirm that your Capitec Business account is active and ready for use 
4.3 Forward a copy of this confirmation letter to support@amitrading.co.za

5. Activate Account 

5.1 Once you have received your account details, we recommend making an initial transfer of R500 to your new account. This is a precautionary measure to ensure everything is functioning correctly and will cover your first Swift fee. This is, however, your choice and you can make the decision whether to send the R500 first or to send all your funds at once
5.2 If you should chose to send the R500 and we give the go ahead, you can proceed with transferring the remainder of your funds  
5.3 Notify FX Rand that you have funded your account
5.4  You will have to fill in two forms declaring that the funds that you have sent are your own and that they came from your account. With this you will have to send a bank statement as proof
5.4 If FX Rand requires additional information or documentation, they will contact you directly with specific requests
