Change of Check Registered SARS Email
You can have multiple email addresses on your eFiling profile; therefore, the one linked or registered to your profile may not necessarily be the one SARS is using to issue correspondence.
Therefore, it is important to ensure that the forwarding and filters are set up on the correct email address, so that we can receive all correspondence related to your application.

The email address the gmail forwarding must go on is the one SARS uses to issue correspondence.
To change or check the email SARS uses to issue correspondence regarding applications you must follow the following steps
Step 1 Log in to eFiling.
Add your user name, password and an OTP to log into your eFiling profile
Step 2 Click Home in the Top-right Corner.
Step 3 Go to SARS Registered Details.
On the left hand side of the home page you will see a blue column, you will see that SARS registered details will be the second heading, click on it to be provided with a drop down box.
Step 4 Select Maintain SARS Registered Details.
From the drop down box select the Maintain SARS Registered Details.
Step 5 Agree and Continue

- There will be different headings each containing a drop down section
- Scroll to the contact section
- Click on the arrow on the right most corner of the heading
- Refer to the email section
The email that you see in the block above is the one SARS will send correspondence too and thus the one we need the Gmail forwarding on.
